North Norfolk, UK

TealI have just returned from a couple of weeks back in the UK, visiting family and friends…and getting a week with the camera up in North Norfolk.

While in Norfolk, I arranged to meet up with some photographers from www.ukbirdphotographers.net – we had a great couple of days and it was good to put some faces to names.  Some of the people I have known for a few years but never actually met!

More images if you click to read more.

More from Bosque

Sunset GeeseDecember has been crazy busy – ice storms, power outages and working hard on a simple plug-in for Lightroom…more to come on that soon!

In the meantime, here are some more images from my trip to Bosque del Apache at the beginning of December.

Hoping everyone has a great 2009!

Cranes and geese

Bosque SunriseI have been at Bosque del Apache for the past few days…my first trip there…and what a place!  I have been merrily creating hundreds upon hundreds of images of Sandhill Cranes…not to mention Snow and Ross’ Geese!

Click through for more images.

There have also been a few other species posing for the camera, including the American Wigeon and Say’s Phoebe below.
